These were mine. Its funny to look back and see what was on the list, which I created when I was 28. Priorities and times change! Nope, I didn't achieve many of them.
Now I have to work on my '40 before you're 40' list, which I'll make sure will be easier to achieve so I don't suffer such feelings of failure.
1. Learn to dive
2. Learn to drive (still no)
3. Read the Bible (I started this but got bogged down. My mate Dave did actually make it all the way through, though)
4. Do a skydive
5. Go whale watching (okay, a few years too late, but I've done it)
6. Fly first class (tick, even if it was for work)
7. Buy a designer suit (you can tell this list was written in my more corporate days, seeing as I haven't worn one in years)
8. Earn more than my age
9. Go on a driving holiday (around Majorca, but I didn't do the driving)
10. Buy a flat
11. Visit Ireland (again, late but tick - do these count?)
12. Get a pension sorted
13. Spend a lavish night in a hotel
14. Eat at a Michelin starred restaurant
15. Swim in a waterfall or lake (still nope)
16. Have a shiatsu massage
17. See twelve plays in twelve months
18. Have Alexander Technique classes
19. Go to a classical concert
20. Be a tourist in London for the day instead of just living there
21. Pay off my credit cards (which I sort of did, but have since maxed out)
22. Go to Somerset
23. Increase my monthly savings (hahahahahahahahahahaha)
24. Survive a weekend with my mother without arguing (still waiting)
25. Lose one stone in weight (if I changed that to increase by...)
26. Stop biting my nails
27. Get a mobile (those were the days, pre-mobile, just think of it)
28. Book a weekend in a country cottage with friends (photos to prove it)
29. Have a makeover (never did, never will)
30. No alcohol for a week (failed dismally but have since achieved)

I suppose I'll have to do a list of 70 things. Oh, shit!
(You're up late...)
