Got a new lampshade for my bedroom. Its big and bronze and seems to lure friends strangely within its shiny glow.

Did you by any chance, see the bits of fella within a huge, and I mean really huge, globe? The bit of the clip I saw was positively fascinating and a larger idea of 'entering into the spirit' of the dome. I saw him balancing on one leg, then the other, (one at a time) then an arm appeared and disappeared within, and so on. The balloon was shiny and opaqaue so you couldn't see within. As I understand it, the guy went on stage and got into this balloon affair (totally encased) wearing trunks, and at the end of the act which I didn't see, came out fully dressed.
I wonder what material was used in making the balloon; some form of flexible silicone I suppose.-

Okay, now that is simply bizarre. I missed this. The idea of a giant balloon stretched taut across someone's entire body whilst they magically get dressed inside is leaving me a little queasy.

It was not stretched taut - the balloon was fully ballooned. You can now safely become un-queasy.
