It is Mothers day here in Switzerland too. I received a plate of home baked biscuits, and a sweet card from my youngest hoping that I have many more years as a Mother! Not sure what to think of that.

Comedy! Little does your youngest know that you'll not be shaken off from being a mother that easily. I like the vagueness of 'as a mother' rather than 'my mother'. Shows independence and a need for distance in one so young!

My mother loses out, bless her. I live here, so I always forget UK mothers' day. Then, when its MD in Amsterdam, I don't send her anything as it doesn't apply.
