The crown on one of my teeth fell out and broke the bit underneath, so I have to have an implant made and screwed into my jaw. Delight. On top of that will sit a new crown. All this will cost me approximately 2,400 euros (yes, you read that right, two thousand four hundred euros).
Before the drilling and the screwing and the pain (financial and otherwise) can begin, I had to have the remains of the tooth root pulled out.
Jesus.
Nine injections later, I have a guy climbing into my mouth and extracting broken, rotten tooth parts. Then he stitches the hole together. I've never known anything like it. Didn't feel a thing (that'll be the nine injections).
Now? I'm home and the hole is still bleeding so I'm consequently dribbling foul blood. And it hurts. Bad. The injections haven't worn off enough to be able to speak with any dignity, but certainly enough to make my mouth H.U.R.T. Big time.
Can't wait to regain the power of speech and really see how much seering white pain this extraction is gonna cause me.
Sob.
Ouchie!
